HeadTripping Books Review:

3.5 out of 5

This book started off directly from where book one left us so if you have not read book one go now and do so.  This is one of those books that you must read book one.  We again have Jess and Fletcher having emotional, trust, and heartfelt issues.  I will say I liked that the two secondary characters in this book books focus was more about Fran and Peter.  I liked them much better than the two best friends from the first.  Fletcher this time around screws up, like men do.  How Jess reacts however, was a bit much in opinion. I tried to give her some points because of how much she has been through but it seemed a little over the top. Fletcher is a soccer star.... needless to say more he's been around the block, more than once.  So we have another woman who is upset that Fletcher chose Jess trying to make waves.  Plus Fletchers gets a surprise from his past that came out of nowhere.  I did like that we have this strong man breaking down and Jess helping him deal with his heartbreak.  We normally don't get to see that in a romance.  It didn't last long and it wasn't mushy or anything but it was nice to see.  This is a solid author and a solid read.
